Qualified candidates must meet ONE of these criteria:  60 college credit hours, have passed the Paraprofessional Assesment, or obtain a substitute certification.   Work under the supervision of the classroom or special education teacher.  Give assistance to students in re-teaching assigned lessons. Could be assigned to work with an individual student(s) with special needs or in a classroom setting.  Lifting, toileting assistance, and feeding may be required at times.  Must complete and submit MHP/FBI background check and unofficial transcripts before hiring.
